- This role requires solid knowledge of key human rights issues and their impact on defenders and their movements.
- The successful candidate will have the ability to engage with international and regional partners, assess applications, communicate with human rights defenders, and make recommendations on grant approvals.
About the Role
The Protection Grants Team at Front Line Defenders is recruiting a Grants Coordinator to support the team's response to human rights defenders at risk in Europe and Central Asia.
The Grants Coordinator will be responsible for assessing applications, communicating with HRDs, engaging with international and regional partners, making recommendations on grant approvals, documenting application statuses, contracting, and reporting.
This role requires a strong understanding of human rights trends in the ECA region and the ability to deliver accurate and objective written information in high-pressure situations.
