Job Title: Airworthiness Control Specialist

Seeking a highly skilled Airworthiness Control Specialist to join our team. This is a full-time, permanent role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Attend and chair daily meetings as per CAME 0.2.6 guidelines.
  • Initiate SMS process when required according to CAME Part 2.
  • Manage interface between CAMO and line maintenance AMO.
  • Coordinate defect rectification with AMO.
  • Maintain fleet status and disseminate to flight crews.
  • Coordinate raising of allowable HILs at locations without AMO support.
  • Monitor and plan accomplishment of upcoming forecasted maintenance requirements including AMP tasks not assigned to workpack generated by Planning Department, WOs before compliance limit and closure of HILs in timely manner.
  • Issue line maintenance workpack to AMO as required for night stop aircraft.
  • Review completed line maintenance workpacks and workorder, update status in AMOS.
  • Manage requests for MEL extensions when necessary.
  • Accept aircraft from A check performing AMO in conjunction with PLM.
  • Accept aircraft from base maintenance AMO in conjunction with BMM.
  • Coordinate management of CVR and FDR in event of accident or incident.
  • Ensure repair or modification compliance with CAME 1.7 in case of short notice repair or modification.
  • Review ECTM or FDM data to determine limitation exceeded.
  • Request and coordinate MCF.
  • Ensure sufficient downtime requested from flight operations for scheduled maintenance by assessing relevant maintenance data and liaising with certifying engineer.
  • Allocate realistic period of time for repairs when liaising with operations on return to service for AOG aircraft.
  • Attend weekly technical delays meeting, occurrence review and reliability meetings.
  • Monitor all spare parts movements for items approaching expiry.
  • Report any misuse of company approval to LMM and Quality Department.
  • Ensure all open events on AMOS Event Tracker are fully up-to-date.
  • Monitor PDC daily ensuring all delays entered into AMOS.
About You:
  • Must hold NFQ level 7 (or equivalent) qualification in Engineering discipline (aeronautical, mechanical, electrical, electronic, avionic) or Category A or B Part-66 aircraft maintenance licence.
  • Have at least 5 years' work experience in CAMO/aircraft maintenance environment.
  • Be well-organised with very good attention to detail.
  • Be comfortable working to strict deadlines on multiple tasks and projects as part of team.
  • Take responsibility for tasks with ability to see tasks through to fruition.
  • Be reliable, hardworking and honest individual committed to teamwork and excellence.
  • Flexibility is key, as is person who can think outside of box, identify opportunities for improvement and provide solutions.
