Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Trade Operations Analyst to join our team. As a key member of the Global Middle Office, you will play a critical role in facilitating the confirmation and settlement of security and currency transactions with brokers and custodian banks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of trade confirmation and settlement processes, reporting, and inquiry responses for FX and equity activities.
  • Maintain a full understanding of our organizational structure, information flow, and internal systems, as well as industry knowledge pertaining to trading and settlement of equity, fixed income, and foreign currency exchanges.
  • Identify, analyze, and resolve complex issues or potential operational risk that may arise and effectively communicate with any party involved.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of financial services experience, preferably with exposure to Custody Operations and/or Trade/Fixed Income Life Cycle management.
  • 2 years of experience in Trade Life Cycle, Settlements, or Fails, with FX experience an advantage.
  • Experience with OMGEO Alert, CTM, CLS, OMS, MISYS preferred.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Detailed knowledge of market settlement practices.
  • Operational knowledge in FX and Fixed Income settlements.
  • Proficient skills in various software applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
  • Working knowledge of agile methodologies.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong data analytical skills.
