Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in delivering individualized care to young people referred to our service.

You will work closely with our clients, providing support and guidance to help them grow, develop new skills, and overcome challenges. Your expertise and passion for social care will make a significant difference in the lives of those we serve.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement individualized Behaviour Support Plans and Placement Plans
  • Support young people with educational activities, both at home and in school
  • Deliver responsive residential care aligned with our established care model
  • Maintain accurate daily records and communicate with parents, professionals, and referral agents
  • Participate in team meetings, training, and service development
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

A minimum Level 7 qualification in Social Care or a relevant field that meets the criteria to be registered as a Social Care Worker with CORU.

Familiarity with the Irish National Standards in Children's Residential Centres is also essential.

You must have a full, clean manual driving license valid in Ireland and the right to work and live in Ireland.
