
Senior Child Development Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Psychologist to join our team in CHO1 Cavan CDNT. The successful candidate will be responsible for the provision of psychology services, including assessment and intervention, to children and adolescents attending services in the region.
The post holder will work with individuals and families on a plan for each life stage, covering all aspects of physical, educational, and social development from early infancy through adolescence. They will also offer a range of services covering personal development, independence, and advocacy.

The ideal candidate will have a university degree or diploma in Psychology, obtained with 1st or 2nd class honours, and an Irish post-graduate professional psychology qualification accredited by the Psychological Society of Ireland in Clinical, Counselling or Educational Psychology.
They must demonstrate competence in the Care Group/s applied for, and have at least five years satisfactory post-graduate experience in the area of professional psychology. Additionally, they should have acquired supervised clinical placements or equivalent post-qualification supervised work experience as a psychologist.
Required Skills and Qualifications- University degree or diploma in Psychology, obtained with 1st or 2nd class honours
- Irish post-graduate professional psychology qualification accredited by the Psychological Society of Ireland in Clinical, Counselling or Educational Psychology
- Competence in the Care Group/s applied for
