About the Role

Senior Analysts play a critical role in our Investor Relations department. This position involves communicating corporate strategy and financial performance to key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with senior team members to communicate corporate strategy and financial performance with key stakeholders.
  • Support planning, reporting, and initiatives associated with investor relations, including quarterly earnings, competitor data tracking, consensus analysis, sell-side analyst rankings, annual meeting of shareholders, and investor relations website.
Quarterly Earnings

Lead the planning of the quarterly earnings process, which includes creating the meeting timeline and deliverables' calendar. Coordinate with cross-functional partners to collect business and financial updates to support earnings materials. Assist with creation of press release and earnings call prepared remarks. Responsible for key deliverables to senior leadership, including the quarterly Q&A document, earnings call presentation slides, tracking analyst reactions and reports, and ad hoc requests. Day of earnings support includes website updates, advancing slides for the earnings call, and taking notes for all callbacks with sellside and buyside analysts.

Analyst & Competitor Data

Track sell-side analyst reporting, competitor data, and market news for the IR team. Distribute information to senior leadership on an ad hoc basis. Annually perform sell-side ranking analysis.

Consensus

Track and analyze consensus updates on a weekly basis and own the relationship with third-party consensus data partner. Perform a quarterly consensus deep-dive identifying variances from internal forecasts to consensus and their potential drivers.

Investor Relations Website

Manage the Company's Investor website, including all content, updates, creative design, and own the relationship with third-party website vendor. Manage required content and regulatory compliance with Communications, Legal, and other departments. Provide annual website review against best practices, identifying opportunities for improvement.

Annual Meeting of Stockholders

Assist in the annual meeting process with the Manager of Investor Relations. Own the production timeline of the Annual Shareholders Meeting, including content, creative design, report review/approval, supplier relationships, printing, and annual distribution. Manage all updates on Proxy website and Investor Relations website.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting
  • Knowledge of stock market and SEC regulations
  • Financial Reporting/Annual Operating Plan experience
  • Experience with financial modeling, management reporting systems, and computer applications
  • Ability to manage databases
  • Excel-based financial models and PowerPoint experience required
  • Strong analysis skills, oral and written communication skills, and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 2-4 years of experience in financial reporting or financial analysis position with large organization
  • Multi-unit restaurant and/or retail environment a plus
