Lead Financial Strategist

We are seeking a seasoned Lead Financial Strategist to spearhead our finance operations. This pivotal role demands exceptional leadership skills, financial acumen, and the ability to drive business growth.

This position will oversee the development and implementation of strategic financial plans, ensuring seamless alignment with our global expansion initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience in managing cross-functional teams.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing financial strategies
  • Leveraging data analytics to inform business decisions
  • Fostering collaboration among finance and non-finance teams
  • Mentoring and developing high-performing team members

In addition to these responsibilities, the Lead Financial Strategist will contribute to the following key areas:

  1. Global Finance Operations: Oversee the planning, execution, and monitoring of financial activities worldwide.
  2. Financial Reporting: Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, meeting regulatory requirements and stakeholder expectations.
  3. Tax Compliance: Develop and implement tax strategies, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.

To excel in this role, candidates should possess:

  • 8+ years of post-qualification experience in a senior finance position, preferably in a global organization.
  • Strong understanding of financial operations, local GAAPs, IFRS, and multi-country compliance frameworks.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in managing teams, including financial controllers, AP/AR, payroll, and outsourced providers.
  • Ability to scale operational finance processes, improve month-end close performance, and manage global subsidiaries, statutory reporting obligations, and tax compliance.
