
Support Professional for Complex Needs

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Support Professional for people with complex needs. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing specialist support services that enable individuals to live fulfilling lives.
Job DescriptionYour primary responsibility will be to provide person-centred support to individuals with autism, focusing on their unique needs and goals. This will involve working closely with the person, their family, and other professionals to develop and implement tailored support plans.
You will be required to work on your own initiative, adapting your communication style to suit individual needs. Delivering support according to person-centred plans and care plans is also essential. Daily living activities, routines, and personal care may also be part of your responsibilities.
In addition to providing direct support, you will also assist individuals to engage in their communities, develop new skills, and understand their rights. Rota-based schedules, including evenings, weekends, and waking night duties, are an integral part of this role.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Awareness of the Key Worker/Support Worker role and philosophy surrounding support to people with complex needs
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Programme planning and person-centred plans
- Places the needs of the person supported as the key focus in all activities
- Delivers support according to the person's PCP and care plan
- Fluent English and excellent communication skills
- Full, clean manual driving licence (manual) essential
