Quantity Surveyor - Civil Contractor - Cork Office/Project Location:Cork Employment Type: PermanentWork Location: Office BasedPay: €55K - 75K, depending on level of experience and negotiable for the right candidate.Experience: 4+yearsVisa: EU passport or Stamp 4 visa requiredOur client is a leading Irish Civil Contractor with projects throughout the Munster and IrelandQuantity Surveyor with 4-5 years experience working with civil contractors is required to join the commercial team.Reporting to a Senior Quantity Surveyor you will be responsible for the Cost Management of one or more projectsProject procurement including issuing tender queries, preparation of tender reports and appointments in line with construction program to ensure delivery of project on time and on budgetPreparing monthly project payment applications and cost reportsMonitoring of project costs and agreeing variations with Design TeamReporting monthly to senior management on the financial performance of individual projectsRequirementsDegree level in Quantity Surveying 4 + years quantity surveying experience on Civils ProjectsPrevious projects experience with main contractors desiredChartered or working towards chartershipExcellent interpersonal and communication skills requiredExcellent IT skillsPackageSalary €55- 75K and negotiable dependent on experienceFull-time permanent staff role with great career prospects
