Job description

Our client, a leading dedicated data centre delivery partner, is currently seeking a Commercial Manager to join their team in Dublin. This permanent position offers the chance to work on a major data centre project, playing a significant role in financial management, budget control, and performance reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead project procurement to successfully meet timelines, budgets, and goalsEnsure clear and consistent cost management practices are in placeProvide commercial reports for key stakeholdersEncourage collaboration and knowledge sharing from pre-construction through project delivery to align teams on scope, budgets, and procurement plansBuild and maintain strong relationships with clients and supply chain partnersCollaborate with project teams to actively assess and respond to risks and opportunitiesOversee the onboarding of subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring alignment with project capacity and budget expectationsEnsure subcontract and procurement documentation is comprehensive and protects company interestsSupport timely, contract-aligned client billing and cash collectionPromote efficient, contractually compliant practices across the supply chain

Requirements:

Degree in Quantity Surveying with significant related experienceStrong communication, numeracy, and problem-solving skillsMain Contractor experience essentialMEP and data centre experience highly beneficialExperience of various procurement models (lump sum, remeasure, design-build, etc.)
