This position is within a fast-growing company in the consumer foods industry, specializing in innovation in the chilled category across manufacturing, retail, and service channels.
Based at the manufacturing site, the Procurement Administrator will play a key role in supporting the procurement process, ensuring a reliable and cost-effective supply of raw materials essential for seamless operations.
Key Responsibilities: Assist the Procurement Officer with maintaining relationships with suppliers and key stakeholders Liaise with suppliers to place, confirm and progress orders and ensuring delivery.
Resolve any supply issues.
Assist the Procurement officer with developing and maintain stock requirement forecasts as required Assist the Procurement officer with planning and coordinate the supply of raw materials.
Assist the Procurement Officer with maintaining a raw material inventory management system.
Ensure timely delivery of raw materials to production sites to avoid disruptions.
General Administration duties Ideal Candidate: Leaving Certificate 3-5 years strong administration experience in a busy role, preferably in the Food manufacturing Industry Excellent attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Experience of procurement software an advantage Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a hybrid work environment.
