We are hiring CSSD Technician for our hospital in Dublin, Ireland.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure adherence to established policies and procedures at all times.
- Daily stock rotation to maintain efficiency.
- Daily inspection of autoclaves and washer disinfectors prior to use to guarantee sterilization.
- Implement effective staff rotations across departments to optimize workflow.
- Maintain a high standard of departmental cleanliness.
- Protect patient confidentiality and uphold the integrity of hospital operations.
- Nurture positive working relationships with colleagues.
- Organize workload to ensure seamless service delivery and adherence to set standards.
- Report any unusual incidents to the supervisor or department manager promptly.
- Provide support during onboarding of new employees.
- Stay updated on new procedures within the department.
- Possession of a diploma or certificate from an approved course.
- Leaving Certificate (or equivalent qualification).
- Proficiency in computer skills.
- Strong communication skills essential for effective collaboration.
- Previous experience in sterile services or healthcare is highly desirable.
- In-depth knowledge of EN ISO standards relevant to Sterile Services.
- Ability to remain informed about changes within Sterile Services and share knowledge with colleagues.
- Excellent communication skills to convey information clearly and concisely.
- Capacity to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
