Job DescriptionWe are currently seeking a dedicated Reservations Agent to join our team at Sheen Falls Lodge.
In this role, you will be pivotal in delivering a five-star experience, responsible for upselling and managing guest room reservations to the highest standard.Key Responsibilities:First Point of Contact: As the initial touchpoint for our guests, you will expertly communicate available options, rates, and itineraries, ensuring a seamless and personalized booking experience.Reservation Management: Convert all inquiries into confirmed bookings while maintaining and updating our reservations system (Hotsoft).Rate Management: Manage and distribute rates effectively through our Channel Manager (D-Edge), ensuring optimal pricing and availability.Customer Relations: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with our guests, providing exceptional service and attention to detail at all times. QualificationsCandidate Profile:Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a similar position within a 5-star hotel environment.Technical Skills: Proven proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Knowledge of booking systems and CRM software is essential.
Familiarity with the Hotsoft booking system is highly desirable.Language Proficiency: Must be a fluent English speaker with excellent written and verbal communication skills.Interpersonal Skills: Strong networking and interpersonal abilities, with a focus on customer satisfaction.Working Hours: You will work 5 shifts over a 7-day period, including Saturdays and bank holidays (shared amongst the team)If you have the necessary experience and are eager to contribute to our five-star service, we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity at Sheen Falls Lodge.Sheen Falls Lodge and Ring of Kerry Golf is an equal opportunity employer committed to hiring a diverse workforce and sustaining an inclusive culture.
