Our client, based in Dublin 20, is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Assistant to join their dynamic finance team.
The Accounts Payable Assistant will be responsible for supporting the finance team in the efficient management of the accounts payable process.
Role Requirements: Producing and managing Purchase Orders.Matching POs with invoices.Posting authorized invoices and credit notes into internal system.Conducting regular supplier statement reconciliations.Assisting with various administrative tasks to support the finance department.Maintaining accurate records of invoices, payments, and vendor communications in the accounting system.Providing general support to the finance department and assisting in other ad-hoc financial tasks as required.Candidate Requirements: Proven experience in Accounts Payable, ideally in a similar-sized organization.Experience using Sage software.Strong attention to detail.Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.Good communication skills, both written and verbal.A solid understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
