TCP Homecare is a healthcare service provider, specialising in direct to patient services which include the dispensing and distribution of pharmaceutical products, home care nursing services and sharps waste management, facilitating a unique turnkey solution for the delivery of hospital care in the patients home.
Due to the expansion of our HR team, we are seeking a Human ResourcesGeneralist who will support the Senior HR Generalist in carrying out the initiatives of the HR function including the implementation and delivery of day-to-day HR operations involving recruitment, payroll, health & safety, employee relations, employee communications and engagement initiatives.
The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of core HR processes and employment legislation, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
This role may involve occasional travel nationwide for meetings and recruitment fairs.
TCP Homecare operate an attractive hybrid working model with home working available up to 3 days per week post training.
However, as this is an office-based position in a support department, onsite attendance will be dependent on the needs of the business.
Key Responsibilities: Responsible for full recruitment cycle including advertising, conducting interviews and managing onboarding process.
Support the development of HR initiatives in areas such as on-boarding, performance management, employee relations, employee welfare and policy development.
Provide solid advice and support to line managers and employees on topics such as absence management, performance, employee life cycle, EAP, and other HR-related items.
HR data analysis and reporting.
Administering monthly payroll submission files.
Contributing to a positive workplace culture by helping employees understand the rationale for policy decisions and using good judgment to communicate and promote consistency and fairness in their application.
Analyse existing processes and areas for improvement.
Work closely with relevant stakeholders to understand their specific needs and challenges.
Collaborate to address those needs effectively Monitor the implementation of HR initiatives and gather feedback from employees and managers to assess effectiveness and adjust /improve as necessary..
Employee relations-conduct investigations, minute taking at disciplinary hearings, and grievance hearings in line with Company policy.
All administrative tasks, including maintaining accurate paperwork and records.
Monitoring and maintaining the Companys time and attendance records, providing support to line managers and employees.
Implementing, monitoring and maintainingemployee databases ensuring integrity and accuracy of data therein.
Contributing to the development of HR projects,initiatives and process improvement.
Experience, Skills & Qualifications Essential: Proven experience in a fast-paced HR role.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with fluency in English language an essential requirement.
Strong interpersonal skills, a team player with the ability to engage and influence at all levels.
Aptitude for problem-solving.
Knowledge of Irish employment law; experience handling grievances and disciplinaries is beneficial.
Ability to work on own initiative, showing curiosity and an ability to work in the grey and join the dots.
Excellent organisational skills with keen attention to detail.
Strong IT proficiency.
Strong administrative skills Full driving licence.
Desirable: Holds or working towards athird level qualification or equivalent in HR.
Experience working in the health sector, specifically experience in recruitment of nurses a distinct advantage.
Payroll administration experience.
Experience using a HRIS, TMS or similar time and attendance system.
