*Great opportunity for someone who wants to move into an Senior Associate level role* Traffic and Roads Engineer with 10+ years experience needed to join a highly respected, award-winning Engineering Consultancy in Limerick and their head office is located in Dublin City Centre.

The successful Traffic and Roads Engineer will also be involved in varied challenging Highway design projects.
This is a strategic hire, with a view to supporting team leadership, mentoring junior engineers and growing my clients transport capability.
Projects: Large Scale Residential Developments for private and public clients Large Scale Commercial and Infrastructure Projects for private and public clients Duties: Lead the design of roads and junctions, roundabouts, car parks, basement car parks access, active travel infrastructure and mobility schemes from feasibility to construction.
Prepare and review Traffic and Transport Impact Assessments (TTA/TIA), Mobility Management Plans (MMPs), Travel Plans, etc. for planning applications and masterplans.
As a Traffic and Transportation Engineer you will engage with and advise directors, colleagues and clients on parking ratios, bicycle, electric vehicle, shared vehicle requirements for developments; Manage client liaison, design team meetings, stakeholder engagement, and liaise with Local Authorities, TII, etc. on behalf of clients.
Ensure all designs comply with relevant Irish standards, including TII Publications, DMURS, and NTA guidelines.
Establish new client relationships and maintain existing ones.
Develop junior Teams talents through mentoring, delegation, and training.
Requirements: The successful Traffic and Roads Engineer should have 10+ years experience within an engineering consultancy.
Broad knowledge of road and highway design best practice and practical solutions.
Experience with UK and/or Ireland projects.
Strong working knowledge of local road and traffic design standards (TII, DMURS, NTA).
Client facing experience managing the civil engineering aspects of projects from start to finish.
Proficient in Auto CAD (Civil 3 D desirable) and traffic modelling packages such as Picady, Arcady, Oscady and Transyt software (or similar).
Experience inspecting civil works as an Ancillary Certifier.
