Environmental Sustainability Coordinator Location: Dublin (Hybrid) Role Type: Permanent Package: Competitive salary + bonus + pension + healthcare Our client, a leading organisation in the insurance and financial services sector, is seeking a Environmental Sustainability Coordinator to join their Sustainability Team.
Reporting to the Head of Sustainability, this is a key role supporting the delivery of the company's climate transition plan and broader ESG strategy, with a strong focus on data analysis, performance tracking, and co-ordinating sustainability initiatives across the business.
The successful candidate will play an important part in helping the company meet its commitment to net zero by 2050, working closely with internal stakeholders and industry groups while ensuring regulatory and reporting requirements are met.
Your Role Support the implementation of the company's Sustainability Strategy and Climate Transition Plan.
Collect and analyse greenhouse gas and ESG data to measure progress against KPIs.
Prepare sustainability reports, dashboards, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
Co-ordinate sustainability projects and initiatives across business units.
Develop internal communications and support employee engagement initiatives.
Research sustainability best practices and monitor regulatory developments.
Organise and support industry forums, events, and awareness campaigns.
Your Skills Degree in Sustainability, Sustainable Finance, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years' experience in sustainability/ESG (financial services desirable).
Strong knowledge of sustainability frameworks, reporting standards, and regulatory requirements.
Proven experience collecting, analysing, and reporting sustainability data.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders.
Organised, detail-focused, and able to manage multiple projects.
A genuine passion for sustainability and continuous improvement.
