Senior Financial Insights Analyst – Dublin, Ireland
We are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Insights Analyst to join a high-performing Business Insights team.
This is a permanent, full-time role offering a competitive package, where you'll work with the finance function to analyse diverse data sources, model financial information, and provide actionable insights that directly influence strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the primary point of contact for Finance and Revenue teams for all data and analytical needs.
Write SQL scripts on existing tables for data reconciliations, and build new SQL tables/views where required.
Deliver aggregated reporting with drill-down capabilities to create a single source of truth.
Scope, execute, and present ad hoc analysis to senior stakeholders, including C-suite.
Identify and resolve data quality issues, implementing scalable solutions.
Maintain documentation for key metrics, processes, calculations, and known limitations.
What You'll Bring
5+ years' experience in a data analytics role, with a strong background in financial data analysis.
Advanced SQL skills and experience with at least one visualisation tool (e.g., Power BI).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and accuracy-focused mindset.
Experience with financial metrics and understanding of P&L items and managing complex datasets from multiple sources.
Ability to clearly explain technical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.
