Kerry We are seeking a Document Controller the successful candidate will be responsible for managing quality documentation using Vault Quality Docs, ValGenesis, and other electronic document management systems (EDMS), ensuring robust document control in line with regulatory and company requirements.
Key Responsibilities Maintain and manage documents within Vault Quality Docs, ValGenesis, and other EDMS platforms.
Oversee document lifecycle: creation, review, approval, issuance, archival, and obsolescence in accordance with SOPs and regulatory requirements.
Ensure document integrity: manage version control, user access, and audit trails.
Support audits and inspections by preparing and providing required documentation.
Liaise with project teams, quality, and other departments to ensure timely and accurate document processing.
Provide training and support to staff on document management procedures and system usage.
Generate and maintain reports on document status, outstanding actions, and compliance metrics.
Assist with process improvements related to document control.
Required Skills & Experience Experience as a Document Controller or similar role, preferably in a regulated industry (e.g., pharmaceutical, life sciences, engineering).
Proficiency with Vault Quality Docs, ValGenesis, or similar EDMS platforms.
Solid understanding of document control principles, quality systems (GxP, ISO 9001), and regulatory requirements.
Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Desirable Experience supporting audits and regulatory inspections (HPRA, FDA, ISO).
Experience training users on EDMS platforms.
Certification in Document Control, Quality Management, or related field.
Knowledge of additional document management systems (e.g., SharePoint, MasterControl).
