Support Worker Fixed Term Contract Drumlin House Training Centre, Cootehill, Co.
Cavan Job Location: Cootehill, Co Cavan Drumlin House provides high-quality, person-centred day services for adults with intellectual disabilities, supporting their independence, development, and community integration in line with The New Directions standards.
We are currently recruiting for Support Workerposition to assist service users in daily activities, ensure their safety and wellbeing, and encourage personal growth and autonomy.
The successful candidate will have a strong person-centred vision and will play a critical key role in facilitating and supporting individuals in our Day Services.
The Ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, adaptable, and innovative, with strong problem-solving skills.
They will be committed to empowering the individuals we support, promoting a high-quality service that helps them lead fulfilling lives.
Requirements: QQI Level 7/8 Bachelors Degree in Social Care or a related field.
Registered with CORU or started the application process for registration.
Fluency in English with strong verbal and written communication skills Strong IT skills and Proficient in Microsoft Word.
Full, clean manual driving licence (This is an essential requirement) Prior experience of working in disability services is desirable.
Knowledge of New Directions Services & Supports for adults with disabilities would be advantageous.
