JOB TITLE: Member Services Officer/Teller CREDIT UNION: Nenagh Credit Union REPORTING TO: CEOand Member Services Manager Nenagh Credit Union Limited are inviting applications for the position of Member Services Officer/Teller.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a progressive and ambitious Credit Union with over 18,000 members and assets of €90 million.
Nenagh Credit Union wish to appoint a self- motivated individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to this position.
GENERAL SCOPE OF ROLE: Reporting to the CEO and Member Services Manager, the Member Services Officer/Teller will be responsible for carrying out a range of operational and administrative activities that contribute to providing excellent member experience and support the effective and compliant operation of the Credit Union.
The successful candidate will be member focused and highly motivated, with a very clear sense of what constitutes a great member experience.
More specifically, he/she will: Deliveranexcellentmemberserviceacrossmultipledeliverychannelsincludinginperson, over the telephone and online adhering to the Principles Values and Culture of Nenagh Credit Union.
Explainproductsandservicesofferedby Nenagh Credit Uniontocurrentandpotential members.
Processmembertransactionsincludinglodgements,withdrawalsandtransfers,account opening and re-activation.
Issuememberloansandensurethatallloanconditionsaresatisfied.
Deal with and resolve member queries.
Referloanapplicationstothe Lendingteam.
Accuratelyanddiligentlyhandlecash,reconcilebalancesandaccountforany shortfall/excess Operatewithintheriskandcomplianceframeworksof Nenagh Credit Unionandensure adherence to all regulatory requirements policies and procedures Other back-office duties as required The above is not an exhaustive list of duties and may change to meet the overall objectives of the Credit Union The Person: Progressive,solutionfocussed&flexible,withaproventrackrecordofworkingonown initiative Minimum3years Customer Serviceexperienceideallyincustomerfacingroles Arelevantfinancialservicesqualification,suchas APAand/or QFA(orequivalent)orwillingto complete one of these qualifications Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and a clear understanding of what greatmember experience is & how it is delivered Attentiontodetailiskeytoensurethatthe Credit Unionmeetsitsresponsibilitiesasa regulated entity & gets it right first time for our members Strong people skills with the ability to work effectively with other team members The Benefits Atourcompany,webelieveintakingcareofouremployees.
