POSITION SUMMARY

We require a Network Solutions Manager with strong design & Implementation capabilities, to lead and manage a team of Engineers & Architects who will formalise design documentations and standards, maintain roadmaps and implement fit for purpose solutions and processes to handoff into support. They will also manage project governances and resources to bring solutions from concept to BAU handover and provide L3/L4 support to BAU teams in warranty period and when needed.


AXA Partners IT, Global IT Operations Department is adjusting its Network guild to create a network solutions team to focus on design and implementation of Projects for AXA Partners.
Global IT operations has several guilds in charge of Infra & Cloud, Network, EUS & Workplace, Security Execution, IT Operations & QoS for AXA Partners globally, interacting with regional & local teams as well as vendors, providers and AXA Group Operations.

In this context, we are looking for a Solutions Manager in charge of design and build of 24x7 production critical network solutions (including WAN/LAN/WIFI/FW/VPN/IP…). This person will work on building critical IT services and global assets, working closely with BAU teams (including Regional/Local) and lead and support key projects like ONE Network, Office Moves, Security, Voice. They will collaborate with AXA GO, Central/Regional/Local IT teams, providers and vendors to assure best In class solution delivery, standards and handover to BAU support. All Central and Regional/local solutions will need to be aligned to Group strategy , security policy and fit for purpose for 24x7x365 availability

They will be part of the Network & Distributed Services Team reporting to the Head of Network & Distributed Services Guild with direct reports centrally and contacts/relays per region to manage the scope.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Network Solutions Manager will be responsible for:

Preparation of the Network & Distributed Guild roadmap for AXA Partners ensuring best in class design and security posture Managing design and build of Project/Programs from conception to BAU handover Use of design principals to deliver best in class security posture and global contact centre operations resilience & continuity The environment and architecture are documented as part of a continuous improvement plan Manage processes that include Project Requests; Resourcing; Invoice Validation; Escalation and Conflict Management Support Office move/consolidations with multiple internal entities co-locating in shared offices Relationship management with AXA GO and Key Suppliers to ensure services are provided to AXA Group Standards Track Budget allocation and reconciliation (Infrastructure Project Financials) Actively manage and mentor resources on the team onsite, offsite and virtually Liaise with Information Security, Compliance and Audit functions as well as wider IT teams They will be a key contact to the Group Operations for Network services and report to the Head of Network & Distributed Services Department. They will interact with a large scope of IT managers in particular Cloud, Contact Centre, Applications, Security & QoS and will need to present at Snr management level They will have direct responsibilities for AXA Partners transversal services, and provide guidelines, standards, roadmaps, processes etc. to internal regional teams for those same services They will also be involved in Agility & DevOps to ensure that AXA Partners get the advantages of them within Network & Distributed Service. Leading Project/Programs, with Project Managers, through formal Project governance and delivery Design and Documentation of current and new solutions for AXA Partners Network Guild in line with Global AXA Strategy , IT Security policy and Initiatives Consulting on the Build and scale out of global assets across the Infra & Cloud, Telephony and Workplace domains Level 3/4 technical support (escalation) on Incidents and Problems with service teams Requirements gathering and technical advocacy for Business lines and Global, Regional and Local Infra/IT teams Transformation of solutions/services to leverage next generation technologies (Traditional infra and Cloud native principles, Next Gen Security, Software defined, Automation, AI) Ensuring effective and seamless service transition and operational handover including process design
Your Profile

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Engineer Degree or equivalent 3+ years of experience as IT Manager, and at least 5 years in Network design and build activities. Management of Engineers in global financial services enterprises, ideally ITIL, AGILE and DevOps experience Enterprise Certifications (Cloud & Network Infra, Cisco & Palo Alto Design expert)

Technical / Functional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities 

Infra Architecture skills with documentation process and controls. Visio, Powerpoint and other design tools. Strong knowledge in the build of global Network solutions, design & projects  WAN, LAN, MAN, VPN and Intercloud networking technologies Cloud Based Networking and interoperation with Branch & End user Automation of Infra Processes (Terraform) Software Defined Networking adoption (SDWAN, SDN, SASE) Infrastructure Security; Firewall, IPS, DDoS, Proxy and B2B VPN. Remote Access and Offshore access; VPN gateways and Citrix, OnPrem & Cloud/SaaS Application Networking; Load-Balancing, WAF, QoS. Agile Branch (WLAN, LAN, SASE) and Voice (SIP, GSIP) solutions. Supporting Global contact Centre and Application Environments. Knowledge of Distributed topics within Networks & Distributed Guild is also useful. IP Services; DNS, DHCP, IP address management, Network Time. Directory service products including AD, Cert, Email & DNS with future evolutions to cloud AD and ID management Experience in working with and leading changes to enterprise scale networks, business platforms and infrastructure Good communication skills both written and verbal Capacity to manage a budget Ability to manage and coach teams and topics transversally, in a matrix organization Ability to travel internationally and flexibility for out of hours change support. Fluent in English, French is beneficial
