As Operations Control Lead, you will have a cross-functional impact on operations to ensure that the company's operations run smoothly and under control. Your role will be to: 

Develop, implement and maintain the Operational Controls framework Validate the effectiveness of Operational Controls Support various functions in the design and implementation of their Operational Controls Define KPIs, perform data analysis and support visibility of Operational Controls

Your main responsibilities will be to:

Ensure control effectiveness and compliance with regulations and internal policies Carry out risk assessment and mitigation strategies to minimize operational risk exposure (FMEA) of internal activities (premiums, claims) Lead the design, maintenance and documentation of internal control processes in collaboration with the Operational Excellence team to mitigate operational risks and ensure operational efficiency. Inventory all existing controls and identify areas for improvement (standardization, centralization opportunities, optimization and automation) to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness. Support the various functions in the design and implementation of controls to mitigate existing or new risks ( new process, new product, organizational change...) Define performance risk metrics and work with the Data Analytics team to create tools and dashboards for data reporting and analysis to improve visibility of controls and operational processes Keep abreast of industry regulations and best practices to ensure that the company's operational controls remain compliant and effective.
Your Profile

Profile required:

Proven experience in Operational Controls, Risk Management or Compliance in the insurance or services sector. Experience in the development and implementation of operational controls and process improvement initiatives (based on failure modes, effects and criticality analysis - FMEA). 4/5 years' higher education in engineering, risk management or a related field Certification in risk management or compliance ( CRM (Certified Risk Manager), ARM 54/55 (Associate in Risk Management), CPCU (Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter) is a plus. Fluency in French and English Proficiency in MS Office applications Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively identify and mitigate operational risks Proficiency in data analysis and performance metrics to promote operational excellence Orientation towards control documentation Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment and drive positive change Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams Ability to coordinate resources to achieve objectives and manage stakeholders at all levels Responsiveness, Organization, Results orientation, Excellent interpersonal skills.
