Job Description

Applications are invited for the position of Transport Administrator, Roadstone Ltd to be based in the Dublin Transport Office, Belgard.

 

The person appointed will report to the Transport Manager and will be required to fulfil a full range of Transport Administration duties in a busy office.

 

Key areas of responsibility:

 

  • Truck Scheduling

  • Optimisation of Company fleet

  • Purchasing Administration

  • Liaising with Dispatch Offices in relation to Transport requirements

  • Dealing with Fleet Drivers & Contract Hauliers.

  • Dealing with complaints and Safety issues with the Transport Manager.

  • Compliance with legal requirements and best practice.

  • Other duties as requested by the Transport Manager.

  • Strong organisational and administrative skills.

  • Excellent communication and inter personal skills.

  • An ability to operate to strict timelines/deadlines.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office would be an advantage.

  • Knowledge of Company materials and Dispatch procedures.
