Mandatory Requirements: Enrolled in an University during the internship.


Key Responsibilities:

Documentation Development: Assist in creating detailed and user-friendly runbooks to document operational procedures, troubleshooting steps, and incident response protocols. These guides will help ensure consistent and effective responses to security incidents. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with engineers and stakeholders to gather insights about the current state of the IT Vulnerability team. Help identify gaps, challenges, and opportunities for improvement. Strategic Planning Support: Contribute to the development of a roadmap and actionable plans based on collected information, aligning with the organization’s overall security strategy and objectives. Vulnerability Management Optimization: Collaborate with the IT Vulnerability team to refine current processes for identifying, assessing, and mitigating vulnerabilities, incorporating best practices. Risk Assessment and Incident Response: Support the incident response team in reviewing and updating procedures to ensure effective and timely responses to security threats.

Qualifications:

First experience with IT security concepts, vulnerability management, or incident response through coursework would be a plus. Organizational skills and attention to detail, especially in creating technical documentation. Interest in developing strategic security solutions and learning how to transition teams toward future-state goals.
