We are looking for an experienced, energetic Programme Manager from a digital background who loves their craft. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator, able to balance the technical aspects of programme management with a pragmatic and collaborative approach to support clients' strategic goals.

This is a new role in the team, and as such the Programme Manager will be expected to work with leadership to shape and define the direction of the team. They will play a central role in defining, producing and delivering digital projects and engaging digital experiences that build lasting relationships with our clients like - HSE, CRU, Mater Hospital, SEAI and Uisce Éireann.

JOB PURPOSE

As a Programme Manager, you will work as part of an multidisciplinary team that delivers projects covering all aspects of digital, including UX and UI design, DevOps and infrastructure, backend and frontend development, quality assurance, data and analytics, CRM, marketing automation and business analysis.

This role is key in ensuring effective communication with our clients about how the DEPT® team add value. As such they will be responsible for managing the project portfolio, ensuring regular communication to the client on the programme status and delivery against the agreed roadmap.

The role holder will manage the programme of work for clients, within the Business Team, working closely with Project Managers and the Business Team Principal to support delivery, ensure we are adequately resourced and manage the long term forecast.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

- Deeply understand the clients values and strategic goals, and ensure the value the team brings is demonstrated

- Think strategically, have an eye on supporting the delivery team, client and ensure we are always looking at the big picture

- Work with Business Analysts and Project Managers to define new requirements and scope projects, including budgets and fit within the programme

- Co-ordinate Scrum Masters, Project Owners, Project Managers and work with the client and Business Team Principal to manage the overall roadmap

- Lead on resource allocation and resource management, to ensure Projects are adequately set up for success

- Responsible for mid range and long term resource forecasting

- Support the continuous improvement of business processes within the team

- Run projects acting as Project Manager, where necessary to support the programme delivery

- Work to ensure we anticipate clients’ needs and offer a superb level of service

- Work in a collaborative environment within the business and with client stakeholders

- Be an active member of the team, supporting colleagues and peers to help achieve overall digital goals for both the Client, Business Team and DEPT®

- Work with and support the Business Team Principal and leadership by identifying opportunities for cross selling and new business

- A positive outlook and strong interpersonal relationship building skills 

- Demonstrated ability to context switch and maintain focus on the team and delivery

- Vendor management experience

- Direct availability to start working in Ireland.
