Key Account Manager

You will be required to convert opportunities and leads into deals which deliver the required returns to all parties. You will establish the Partnership proposition, pipeline governance and capability within RSA.

You’ll engage with leaders in our sales, underwriting, operations, and finance teams, as well as our business partners, and prospective partners to articulate our story and the value we offer to our customers.

You will develop and ensure the successful delivery of a partner pipeline for our partnership channel (Affinity & Direct).

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and manage partnership pipeline to support profitable growth profitable through both partners and direct channels. Agree and contribute to strategy for pipeline management and support the delivery of the overall sales strategy. Develop and manage the appropriate governance strategy for managing the pipeline successfully. Develop customer presentation materials. Create a strong business network. Develop and manage our key partnership propositions that will match potential leads needs. Create annual contact strategy to support pipeline activity. Strengthen relationships with existing and new business partners and establish “Deal making” as a core RSA capability Develop insights into competitor pipelines and existing partners as well as customer and market trends. Work with the UK / Group based Partnership teams to leverage their assets and adapt them to the Irish business. Maintain robust governance processes to monitor impact of pipeline and refine based on learnings and feedback. Work with colleagues in marketing, sales, operations, claims and underwriting to maximise effectiveness of partnership deals

Requirements:

Minimum APA Qualification Ideally 4- 5 years in a range of sales environments Ideally experience in B2B sales Excellent communication & negotiation skills Broad knowledge across business area Proven business development skills Ideally APA/CIP qualified
