Prestwick Aircraft Maintenance (PAM) Ireland Ltd is Ryanair’s first heavy maintenance facility in Ireland.  Established in 2022 the company supports the maintenance of Ryanair's growing Boeing 737 NG and MAX fleet and is located in a 3-bay hangar in Shannon, Co. Clare.  The facility employs highly skilled aircraft engineers, mechanics, and support staff.

PAM Ireland has an opportunity for a Document Controller to join our team in Hangar 5. Reporting to the Check Supervisor the successful candidate will play an essential part in safely maintaining a fleet of over 450 aircraft for one of the world’s largest and most successful airlines.

Responsibilities:

    • Liaising with Planning, Engineering, Quality and Check Supervisors on the production of aircraft check packs.
    • Printing check pack documents and distribute to the relevant zones of the aircraft.
    • Collate all aircraft paperwork once completed and ensure that it is completed correctly and in compliance with documentation quality control system.
    • Carry out regular quality & compliance checks on documents in work.
    • Follow up on incomplete/missing documentation.
    • Ensure that all documentation is organised, scanned, bookmarked, backed up and entered in aircraft records.
    • Carry out the document archiving process for all company documentation as required, ensuring compliance with appropriate regulations.
    • Assist with any other ad-hoc tasks or projects as required.

Requirements

    • High degree of competence in ability to manage data and paperwork, attention to detail, understanding of quality requirements, the use of systems, spreadsheets and other analytical tools to assist the planning processes.
    • High standard of computer literacy, especially Microsoft Office Suite is essential.  Knowledge of AMOS would be an advantage.
    • Excellent command of written and spoken English.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong working relationships with key stakeholders.
    • A strong understanding of Quality systems and why they are needed.
    • Aircraft experience/working knowledge of an Aircraft Maintenance environment is desirable.
    • Ability to work independently and without direct supervision.
