About the role 

An exciting opportunity has opened up in our HR team for an experienced HR Associate. This role presents a great opportunity for an experienced administrator/HR operations specialist to join a future focused, proactive HR Team. 

The successful candidate will be a key member of the HR Operations team supporting the delivery of our People Strategy across the Davy Group.  You will work as part of a multi skilled, progressive and fast paced HR Team which collectively supports over 900 professionals. In the role, the successful candidate will: 

 

  • Be a core member and contributor to the HR Operations Team in supporting the HR needs of the business with a strong emphasis on process improvement with a view to ensuring operational excellence; 
  • Own the administration, processing and documentation of various HR events for our people; 
  • Assist in maintaining the HR Information System (HRIS) by ensuring all data is up to date; 
  • Support the HR Business Partners in meeting the HR needs of the business and the delivery of our People Strategy; 
  • Be a key point of contact on the full range of HR queries and requests from the business and supporting our people throughout the full life cycle; 
  • Provide ad-hoc support for all HR admin activities; 
  • Participate in HR projects; 
  • Ensure compliance with the Risk framework, policies and procedures associated with the role. 

Requirements

About you  

We are looking for somebody who has the following background and skills: 

  • Strong administration and coordination skills, with a proven track record in a busy HR team or a professional office environment; 
  • Strong system skills to include MS Office (particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Word) to an advanced level; 
  • Ability to work comfortably as part of a team or independently; 
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment and proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines; 
  • Strong organisational / prioritisation skills are essential as you will be managing multiple deadlines; 
  • The ability to work accurately, with strong attention to detail; 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, and an ability to communicate with all levels across the business; 
  • A high level of discretion and confidentiality; 
  • Flexible, enthusiastic and proven ability to adapt and learn new skills quickly; 
  • A Diploma/Degree in HR or a related discipline is beneficial, but not essential.
