Cleaning Shift Supervisor

  • Shift start times between 6pm-8pm. 8 hour shift with 30 mins unpaid break
  • Location: Red Cow/Sandyford/Broombridge Luas Depots


The role is to supervise cleaning operatives across Luas sites, maintaining high standards of cleaning and ensuring duties and works are completed. There is a level of admin and recording of paperwork that will be required to be completed on each shift. They will be expected to assist with staff to ensure all tasks are fulfilled. They will assist with Duty Managers to manage rosters, absence, cover, consumables etc.


***Please note you must be able to pass a strict security vetting procedure which includes a 5 year background check. If you have not been resident in Ireland throughout the last 5 years you will need to provide a current police disclosure for every country, you have lived in for the last 5 years. This must be officially translated into English. You must also have a physical valid passport or driving license at the time of application****

  • Proof of bank statement
  • Proof of PPSN
  • work permit ( if applied)
  • Police Clearance - ( from all countries you have lived in outside of Ireland in the past 5 years)
  • 2 written references from last two previous employers
  • CV must have all dates of employment, the employers name , email address and contact number of all jobs in the past 5 years.( this is very important, if there is a gap between jobs of over 28 days that cannot be explained we can not offer the job.)

Overview of the Role:

  • Carry out a variety of cleaning assignments.
  • Provide high quality cleaning services as assigned.
  • To maintain a clean, hygienic, and safe working environment at all times.
  • Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with daily operating procedures.

  • Mopping floors
  • Vacuuming floors
  • Touch Point Cleaning
  • Clean desks
  • Dust legs of desks and chairs
  • Clean appliances
  • Dust to hand height
  • Empty bins
  • Dispose of rubbish bags
  • Clean toilets & bathrooms
