Head of Manufacturing - Med Device (Swords, Dublin)**

**Position Overview:**
We are seeking a **Head of Manufacturing** to lead this Point of Care facility in Swords, Dublin. In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient and effective operation of the site's manufacturing processes, ensuring the delivery of key performance indicators (KPIs) while fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

**Key Responsibilities:**

1. **KPI Delivery:**
- Ensure day-to-day achievement of site KPI metrics (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, and Productivity - SQDIP).
- Maintain a strong focus on EHS management, promoting a Zero-Harm culture.

2. **Team Leadership & Coaching:**
- Lead with an empowered leadership style, providing support, recognition, and opportunities for growth.
- Deliver direct coaching to develop individuals and teams.
- Develop succession plans and a talent pipeline to ensure long-term organizational success.
- Strategically manage headcount resources and optimize training and development for your team.
- Foster a strong team culture to drive continuous performance improvements.

3. **Continuous Improvement:**
- Champion Continuous Improvement initiatives across the site, implementing best practices.
- Drive strategic performance improvements and fast response to operational challenges.
- Lead improvement events using methodologies like 5S, Kaizen, and PDCA.
- Build relationships across departments and with external agencies to enhance site performance and reputation.

4. **Operational Excellence:**
- Ensure productivity goals are continually reviewed and achieved to drive cost savings.
- Collaborate across the business to align the site's performance with global business objectives.

**Qualifications & Experience:**
- Minimum of 5 years of direct production experience at a senior management level, preferably in a high-volume, regulated manufacturing environment.

**Skills & Attributes:**
- Strategic thinker with a goal-focused mindset and a passion for leading and developing high-performing teams.
- Strong ability to collaborate with stakeholders to deliver complex solutions.
- Takes ownership and responsibility, delivering effective solutions with accountability.
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
