Reporting to the Finance Director


Full job description

·       Reconciliation of insurance company statements within the agreed credit terms on OpenGi (insurance brokerage system)

·       Liaising with insurance companies and staff regarding account queries

·       Recording of client receipts on OpenGi & completion of bank reconciliations

·       Preparing online bank payments to insurance companies

·       Preparing cheque and cash lodgements for the bank

·       Assisting with the completion of month end on OpenGi and the month end reporting for management accounts

·       Maintenance of hard and soft copy files

·       Ad hoc general administration and finance duties

 

Skills/Requirements:

·       2 yearsâ experience in a finance administration role preferably in Insurance Broking but not essential

·       ATI or similar qualification

·       Excellent IT Skills (Microsoft Office â Excel, Outlook)

·       Well organised and able to prioritise work to meet deadlines. Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills

·       Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal with good presentation ability

·       A team player who is solution driven and who will work on their own initiative


Salary: Negotiable and depending on experience
