Role Information:

  1. Team Management: Oversee and coordinate the activities of the food and beverage staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
  2. Quality Control: Ensure that food and beverage operations meet quality standards, from preparation to presentation, maintaining consistency and adherence to health and safety regulations.
  3. Inventory and Ordering: Manage inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks, and place orders for food, beverages, and supplies to maintain adequate levels while controlling costs.
  4. Customer Service: Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing concerns, resolving complaints, and ensuring a pleasant dining experience for guests.
  5. Financial Management: Assist in budgeting and cost control measures, monitoring expenses, analysing financial reports, and implementing strategies to maximize profitability without compromising quality.
  6. Menu Development and Promotion: Collaborate with chefs to develop menus, create special promotions, and implement marketing strategies to attract guests and increase revenue.

Requirements:

  • Previous work experience in Food & Beverage supervisory
  • Completed Hospitality/ Travel / Tourism qualification
  • Ability to communicate with employees and customers, solve multiple problems at the same time, set up priorities, organize work and make certain decisions
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent customer care and complaint handling skills
  • Excellent presentation and appearance
  • Sales related skills
  • Ability to use computer (desired Micros)
  • Ability to deliver quality and standards
