We are growing our team in Dublin and are seeking a motivated, proactive Business Consultant to join our Global Customer Services Group. You will deliver finance process automation solutions for global customers based on our innovative best in class software. You will be actively involved in the complete project lifecycle from pre-sales through to project delivery.

Business Consultant – Your role:

You will deliver finance process automation solutions for global customers based on our innovative best in class software. You will be actively involved in the complete project lifecycle from pre-sales through to project delivery.

Your responsibilities:
  • Client Consultation: Collaborate with clients to understand their current AP/P2P processes, business objectives, and challenges, and recommend SoftCo solutions.
  • Configuration: Provide solution designs that align with clients' unique needs, including workflow optimization and ERP integration in line with SoftCo solutions and best practice.
  • Product Expertise: Maintain a deep understanding of our AP/P2P automation solutions and stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
  • Technical Analysis: Evaluate the technical requirements for ERP integration, assess compatibility, and provide guidance on data mapping and system interfaces.
  • Training: Deliver engaging training and demonstrations to showcase the capabilities of the SoftCo solution, including the integration process with various ERP systems.
  • Business Process Mapping: Collaborate with clients to map their existing processes and identify opportunities for improvement and automation.
  • Project Support: Assist clients in project planning, resource allocation, and change management strategies to ensure successful solution implementation.
  • Client Relationship Building: Establish and nurture strong, long-lasting client relationships, ensuring that their needs and objectives are met.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain detailed project documentation, including configuration documents, project plans, and status reports for internal and external use. Ensure adherence to company policies.
  • Other ad-hoc duties as required.
Your profile:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Finance, Computer Science) or commensurate experience.
  • Proven experience in the AP/P2P industry, with expertise in ERP integration, D365 F&O desired (Min 2 years).
  • Strong technical knowledge around SQL, XML and Server configuration.
  • Strong understanding of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft).
  • Commercial mindset and business acumen.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Willingness to travel to client sites as required.
