The Performance Coach will work within the Health & Performance Team to carry out service delivery duties on site in Dublin.

About the role

Instructing, supporting and motivating clients in a safe and professional manner to achieve their personal goals:

  • Design and deliver 1-2-1 client training programmes / re-programming, as needed, to support and achieve Client goals.
  • Deliver onsite assessments of health and training capability using the Westfield Health Wellbeing evaluation procedures and codes of conduct.
  • Conduct 1-2-1 reviews at required intervals to optimise client engagement, retention and personal outcomes.
  • Proactively maintain high levels of engagement with clients to promote retention, joy, encouragement and motivation.
  • Assist and facilitate ‘peripheral’ activities, inclusive but not exclusive to, events, presentations, talks, and all related activities to the services we provide.
  • Be responsible for maintaining gym cleanliness, including the upkeep and cleaning of equipment on-site.
About you:Education and Qualifications
  • Degree in Exercise or Sports Science related field.
  • First Aid certification or ability to get one within 3 months.
Experience
  • Minimum of two years of personal training/fitness coaching experience.
  • Demonstrable experience in a corporate wellbeing environment is desired but not essential.
  • A proven track record of successfully working individually to establish training needs, develop interventions to meet these needs, and deliver high-quality health and wellbeing solutions and intervention outcomes.
  • Experience in teaching group fitness classes with emphasis on helping improve technique and ability.
Skills
  • Excellent presentation skills both to individual and group settings.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on high quality client experience.
  • The ability to work independently and on one’s own initiative with little supervision.
  • IT literate with experience and capability with Microsoft Office and G-Suite.
  • Diligence, passion and motivation to provide the highest quality service to our Client.
  • Ability to teach group-based activities.
