Job DescriptionAs Account Executive in the Sales team, your main objective will be to build and maintain lasting relationships with clients by understanding their focus and anticipating their needs. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Proactively creating and maintaining relationships to build new business opportunities with independent retailers and small retail groups, predominantly within Ireland and also supporting in the UK region.
- Leveraging prospecting techniques and resources to uncover new contacts and business opportunities within the region to drive new business.
- Supporting our Key Account Strategies across the region, presenting as the key contact on the ground visiting and building relationships with retailers.
- Forging excellent relationships with our key partners, working closely with their Business Development teams to achieve our business objectives across the region.
- Working closely with our Product, Marketing, Business Admin, Project Management and Customer Success teams in an end-to-end, Customer First approach throughout the sales cycle.
- Presenting value and return on investment as part of your clients' digital transformation journey with Vusion.
- Assisting our marketing teams in the development of business cases, communications, and customer stories.
- Setting up meetings with business development representatives, partners, and prospects to grow your network in the region.
- Preparing and delivering engaging presentations on our products and services.
- Participating on behalf of the company in exhibitions and/or conferences.
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in business or related discipline.
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar position selling complex hardware and software solutions, preferably to the retail industry.
- Proven track record in attaining/exceeding account management and sales goals.
- Knowledge of the retail industry is an asset.
- Ability to understand clients' needs and add value.
- High level of personal drive and proactive work methods.
- Ability to prioritize strategic tasks.
- Full driver's license is mandatory since the role involves travel around Ireland to meet customers.
VusionGroup has an office in Cork, but this role is open in every Irish city.
