Business Development Manager - Corporate and Mergers & Acquisitions An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a skilled Business Development Manager to join the Corporate and Mergers & Acquisitions Department of one of Ireland's leading law firms. The successful candidate will be instrumental in developing and executing business development and marketing programs, working closely with senior leadership to expand the firm's clientele and enhance its market position. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute the business development and marketing elements of the Corporate and M&A Department business plan. Raise the profile of the Corporate and M&A Department, in collaboration with the firm's marketing team and legal professionals. Manage departmental rankings and oversee submissions to legal directories. Support new client initiatives and prepare responses to requests for proposals or information. Conduct extensive internal and external research to maintain a deep understanding of the corporate legal market. Lead the review and continuous improvement of the Department's suite of marketing materials. Key Skills and Requirements: Degree in business, marketing, communications, or equivalent work experience. 5+ years of experience in a marketing or business development role within a professional services firm. Proven experience leading business development and marketing for a practice group or service line. Capability to work with partners/senior executives. Previous experience in a managerial role is essential. Exceptional oral and written communication skills. Strong judgment and decision-making abilities. Advanced understanding of strategic marketing and communications. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently. Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
