Job Description:

We are looking for a B2B Business Development Manager to join our Vrbo team

This is a hybrid working role, and you will be expected to spend 50% of the working week at our Dublin offices.

What you’ll do:
  1. Prospect for net new supply, focusing on high demand areas to match traveler demand.
  2. Create and execute a territory plan to build and maintain a pipeline of opportunities, ensuring attainment of set quarterly revenue targets.
  3. Develop a contact & call strategy to achieve and exceed targets.
  4. Conduct daily outreach using a discovery, value pitch and compelling closing statements to gain commitment.
  5. Execute effectively against all targets, goals and strategic objectives set by leadership.
  6. Drive new partner education to maximize production potential at “Go-Live” and prepare them for hand off to an Account Manager.
  7. Familiarize with key demand and supply indicators, economic data, trends, and competitive information within the Vacation Rental marketplace.
  8. Collaborate with the Account Managers and the Connectivity Account Managers to ensure we are providing the best service and receiving any net new listings.
Who you are:
  1. Fluency in English and Spanish (Portuguese is a plus).
  2. A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent related professional experience.
  3. 2+ years of experience in account management, sales, or OTA market management.
  4. Strong ability to read and sell to any audience, with ambition and a competitive nature.
  5. Mastery of sales techniques including cold calling, objection handling, quarterly planning, pipeline management, sales forecasting.
  6. Excellent organization and interpersonal skills.
  7. Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  8. Knowledge of Salesforce or other CRM systems and Tableau or other BI platforms.
  9. Knowledge of the accommodation and vacation rental industry is a plus.
  10. High impact personality: intellectual agility, entrepreneurship, compassion in relationship, great teammate.
  11. Hungry, determined, motivated, willing to take action and results-focused.
  12. Strategic, skilled in prospecting, and eager to find their own opportunities.
  13. Proven follow-up/persistence when facing challenging situations.
  14. Ability to multi-task effectively and adapt quickly.
