International Sales Manager

Industry: HVAC, Commercial Cooling, Chillers, Commercial Heat Pumps, Heating, Mechanical Ventilation, Heat recovery.

Due to the ongoing growth and success of their existing product line, my client is looking for a high-performing, proactive International Sales Manager to join their business, with a specific focus on the Data Centre division.

This is a major projects sales position, with routes to market through contractors, consultants and end users.

If you're a sales manager with an eye for quality and a passion for delivering results, this could be the opportunity for you.

What you'll need:

  • technological understanding and knowledge that is demonstrable in presenting at an Executive level.
  • experience in sales within the HVAC industry, ideally with a focus on data centres.
  • strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to discern customer requirements
  • project management capabilities, with the capacity to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • to travel for the requirements of the position, both nationally and internationally.
  • desire to achieve personal and team success, with the ability to enthusiastically demonstrate persuasion, proactivity and initiative.
  • mind-set, ability to craft reliable insights into their designated region and the relevant customer base.

What you'll be doing:

You will be responsible for establishing and developing the sales and marketing activities of the IT, Telecom and Edge Computing product ranges, internationally, in order to grow their global market presence. You will liaise closely with other functional leaders of the business including those in Engineering, Operations, Quality and Finance. This will include:

  • with the relevant technical teams and customers to develop and document all user requirements.
  • sales pipeline to ensure adequate lead inflow to produce expected sales.
  • up-to-date sales pipeline & detailed forecasts.
  • and implementing short and long-term marketing strategies to meet annual sales targets.
  • and monitoring sales and marketing budgets.
  • partnerships to increase sales and collaborate with media platforms and Enterprise Ireland.
  • the performance of sales and marketing personnel and external representatives.
  • international technical sales and applications support including occasional on-site support at customer meetings and trade shows.
