Key Responsibilities

  • Provide an innovative approach to full-cycle recruitment procedures.
  • Assist hiring managers in recognizing current and future staffing needs.
  • Create essential internal communications to convey a structured message regarding HR and recruitment initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the Head of HR and Hiring Managers to pinpoint candidates through various strategies such as LinkedIn, job boards, social media, networking, and recruitment events.
  • Aid the Head of HR in executing and overseeing internal HR and recruitment processes.
  • Cooperate with the Marketing department to enhance employer branding with a focus on talent campaigns.
  • Develop a top-notch candidate and employee experience and culture.
  • Take the lead on HR programs including Early Careers and Graduate initiatives.
  • Engage with key stakeholders in the business for job description assistance, interviewing support, negotiation, and onboarding guidance.
  • Support the Head of HR in projects related to employee referral programs, cost reduction, and refined PSL tendered review processes.
  • Concentrate on robust diversity and inclusion hiring practices and communications.
  • Maintain compliance and governance standards for employee qualifications, vetting, and references.
  • Source, vet, interview, and shortlist candidates for hiring managers.

Person Specification

  • Experience in recruiting permanent, contract, and temporary staff within the financial services sector, particularly in the insurance industry.
  • Proven track record working within internal recruitment teams.
  • Familiarity with recruitment agencies.
  • Diverse recruitment expertise for various roles including general recruitment, strategic hires, graduates, interns, and apprentices.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in recruitment or relevant HR roles.
  • Preferably, experience in recruiting within the financial services sector.
  • Qualified with appropriate CIPD or Recruitment certifications.
  • Experience in managing senior stakeholders and contract negotiations.
  • Thorough understanding of HR best practices and processes.
  • Familiarity with Irish and UK Employment Legislation.
