Regional Manager National Learning Network (NLN)

Permanent, 39 hours per week

National Learning Network (NLN) is a leading provider of personalized education, training, and development opportunities for individuals with disabilities or additional support needs in Irish communities.

Operating across 50 learning colleges nationwide, we assist 7,500 students annually in various services such as Bridging and Transition Services, Vocational Training, Labour Market training, and Support in Education.

Overview of the Role

As a Regional Manager at NLN, reporting to the Head of Operations, you will oversee the delivery of high-quality services in alignment with educational standards, leading the operations team within your region.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage education and training services within budget constraints efficiently.
  • Develop and implement annual business plans for the region.
  • Monitor Key Performance Indicators for performance optimization.
  • Engage in strategic planning and service development initiatives.
  • Foster strategic relationships with funders and manage agreements.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Drive continuous improvement and quality assurance strategies.
  • Network with stakeholders and local communities to enhance NLN's presence.
  • Support individual placements and encourage teamwork and innovation.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to strategic projects and handle disciplinary matters.
  • Promote diversity and respect in the workplace.

Required Experience/Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of regional management experience.
  • Third level qualification in relevant fields, preferably a Master's degree.
  • Track record of leading operational projects and achieving business outcomes.
  • Demonstrated leadership and change management skills.
  • Experience in stakeholder management and strategic partnerships.
  • Strong organizational and planning abilities.
  • Effective budget control and value for money management.
  • Alignment with organizational values and mission.
  • Ability to make strategic decisions and navigate complexities.
  • Knowledge of charity or not-for-profit sector is a plus.
