Why This Role Is Valuable:

The Design Director will lead strategic design endeavors that drive business expansion and enhance brand visibility, translating brand strategy into exceptional consumer experiences that seamlessly blend outstanding design with clear messaging.

You will define and communicate a distinct design vision for the organization, aligning it with business objectives and consumer insights.

You will advocate for the Brand Distinctive Assets philosophy, ensuring it is the cornerstone of design strategy, brand identity, and consumer engagement.

What You Bring To The Role:

  • Extensive experience (10+ years) in design leadership, particularly within FMCG/CPG sectors.
  • Outstanding ability to grasp consumer insights and skill in translating them into strategically significant design decisions.
  • Skilled in inspiring and motivating high-performance design teams, fostering a collaborative and innovative atmosphere.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively influence key stakeholders and promote the value of design across all organizational levels.
  • Proficient in design concepts, methodologies, and best practices across various design domains, such as user experience (UX), branding, distinctive assets, visual design, and packaging design.
  • Demonstrated capacity to translate strategic visions into actionable design plans and oversee the entire design process from concept to implementation.
  • Solid grasp of business fundamentals and the ability to convert design solutions into tangible business value, like increased revenue and enhanced customer satisfaction.
  • Experience collaborating with multiple interconnected disciplines, including R&D, Packaging Technology, Consumer Insights, NPD, and Brand.
  • Extensive technical proficiency in utilizing relevant Adobe design tools.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time as business needs dictate.
  • Innate interest in food is a bonus.
