T he Guinness Open Gate Brewery is the innovative and experimental arm of one of the world's most beloved breweries. The famous black gates opened to the public in 2015, on the site that is also home to Guinness's Product Research Unit. At the Guinness Open Gate Brewery, our focus is on creating new and innovative beers, serving tasty bites to enjoy alongside those beers, and highlighting the spirit of community, inclusivity, and hospitality that are the hallmarks of the Guinness brand.

About the Role

We are on the hunt for an ambitious, energetic, and all-around awesome Venue Manager. Our perfect candidate will be someone who is passionate about beer culture and excited to put their stamp on this unique Guinness bar, located in the heart of the St. James's Gate Brewery. If you're excited to lead a team of beer enthusiasts in welcoming guests to our beautifully unique hospitality space and are ambitious for creating and scaling unforgettable beer experiences rooted in the culture of the thriving Dublin community, then we want you

Responsibilities:

• Set the Vibe: You will lead all aspects of the Guest Experience at The Guinness Open Gate Brewery, creating an unrivalled hospitality experience which is inviting, fun, and uniquely Guinness.
• Experience Guru: You will have the ability to connect the amazing beer innovations created here at the experimental brewery to contemporary beer culture.
• Guinness Ambassador: You will be ambitious with your ideas and activations, you will develop the style of everything from social media posts to in-house events to reflect our fun-loving spirit and deep community ties.
• Lead: You will lead and invigorate the team, encouraging them to share their enthusiasm and knowledge with every guest.
• Community Builder: You will be an experienced relationship manager, creating connections

Role Requirements:

• A Guinness and beer enthusiast who has experience managing similar venues, and with a knack for creating exceptional experiences.
• A natural hospitality leader who can inspire a team and foster a fun, inclusive environment.
• A brand storyteller who can craft a unique tone of voice for the venue.
• An event planner with a flair for fun and a love for all things beer.
