Telesales Business Development Representative

The main focus of a Business Development Representative (BDR) is to create sales opportunities that lead to revenue growth through targeted outbound campaigns and sales strategies for the Oracle Global Industry Unit (GIU). Sales opportunities are mainly generated through focused outreach using various communication channels such as phone, email, and social media. BDRs collaborate with industry sales specialists to identify potential prospects, generate leads, and assess opportunities. As a BDR, you will represent Oracle to prospects initiating sales processes for industry-specific critical solutions. This role involves generating, qualifying, prospecting, and delivering high-quality opportunities for the GIU sales team.

Your Responsibilities:
- Connect potential clients with Oracle and create high-quality leads that result in revenue.
- Expand market share within the industry through new revenue streams.
- Be a collaborative team player who contributes their best work daily, sharing knowledge, collaborating, and working with colleagues globally.
- Conduct account research, gather intelligence, identify opportunities for growth, and leverage industry insights.
- Identify and assess potential customer requirements by understanding business obstacles and engaging key stakeholders through exploration.
- Develop a deep understanding of the One Oracle suite and GIU solutions to establish credibility with prospects.
- Strategize and cooperate with sales and marketing teams to implement outbound campaigns and sales strategies aligned with the industry's go-to-market approach.

Requirements:
- You hold a bachelor's degree. Alternatively, you have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in outbound sales/business development or industry-specific roles.
- You have over 2 years of experience in sales or business development focusing on outbound prospecting. Previous software and technology experience is not mandatory.
- Prior experience in an industry-specific domain is advantageous.
