Air Liquide Healthcare Ireland has over 30 years experience and specialises in treating and monitoring respiratory diseases in the patient's home supporting multiple therapies:

  • Home Oxygen
  • Nebulisers
  • Ventilations
  • Sleep

We currently provide such therapies to over 10,000 patients across Ireland (combined private and public healthcare). Our field based operations team consist of Healthcare Technicians and Patient Care & Sales Specialists, who ensure that our patients receive the support that they need whilst using our equipment. From installation, training on how to use equipment, servicing and removal.

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW? Air Liquide Healthcare is actively seeking an enthusiastic, people focused, Patient Experience Specialist to join the team and help support patients and users of our Tandem t-slim insulin pump- a pump designed to enhance the lives of those with Diabetes.

In this role, you will work closely with patients within your territory, supporting them and delivering informative training sessions to new and existing users of our Diabetes insulin pump and consumable products.

This is a field based role so regular travel across Cork and the Midlands will be a part of your day to day job.

Please note this is a part time role so working days are Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering informative training sessions to support patients and healthcare providers on using the Tandem t-slim insulin pump.
  • Providing and exceptional aftercare service to patients, and ongoing support.
  • Supporting at patient events and educational sessions.
  • Regularly interacting with Healthcare professionals and providing feedback pre and post pump training
  • Providing the relevant training documents

The ideal person for this role will have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and Diabetes Patients.

We are also looking for:

  • Experience working as a Diabetes Educator with a strong knowledge of insulin pump therapy would be preferred
  • Previous experience working as a nurse in a hospital and/ or homecare environment would be extremely advantageous
  • A patient centered approach and a desire to positively impact patients lives
  • A willingness to travel and a clean manual driving license
  • Exceptional organisational skills, with an ability work autonomously and in a team setting
  • A confident communicator with the ability to develop strong working relationships with patients, healthcare professionals and the Air Liquide Healthcare team
