Overall Purpose of the Role

To actively expand our Wholesale business portfolio across all product lines (Commercial and Financial) and industry sectors to enhance the business at every possible opportunity.

The available position is a full-time permanent role focused on developing new business at Robertson Low Wholesale.

Key Responsibilities

  • Meet monthly New Business/Renewal targets
  • Handle all aspects of submissions and policy placement
  • Process policies, schedules, and associated documentation
  • Always prioritize the client's best interests
  • Adhere to Company's Compliance and office procedures
  • Stay updated on market practices and product availability
  • Build Broker loyalty through efficient service
  • Ensure timely collection of all accounts
  • Participate in technology best practices
  • Attend local Chamber and networking events as needed
  • Collaborate with other teams for training, product development, and operational efficiency
  • Liaise with Marketing for Wholesale Department's Marketing Plan
  • Assist with projects and attend necessary Broker meetings

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in commercial Insurance
  • Professional Indemnity Insurance Experience is a plus
  • Minimum APA Commercial or Grandfathered Commercial qualification
  • Familiarity with Lloyd's market and/or wholesale brokers
  • Sound technical knowledge of insurance products
  • Strong IT skills and a clean driving license
