Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and reliable full-time Porter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and orderliness of our facilities, assisting with various tasks, and providing excellent customer service. This role requires a proactive individual with good time management skills and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the premises, including common areas, restrooms, and workspaces.
  • Assist with setting up rooms and spaces for meetings, events, and other activities.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs and minor repairs.
  • Handle deliveries and distribute mail and packages to appropriate departments.
  • Monitor and restock supplies as needed.
  • Assist visitors and staff with inquiries and directions.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Report any maintenance issues or hazards to the appropriate personnel.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
  • Good physical condition and the ability to perform manual labour.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy with a positive attitude.
  • Basic understanding of health and safety regulations.
