Reporting to: Business Account Manager IP Telecom

This is a great position for someone with at least four years' experience in Customer Service, who will be a champion for our Customers within the organisation and who will work closely with their colleagues across all departments. This position is for someone who is looking to take on an exciting challenge where you can showcase your Customer excellence skills and you will be challenged to grow.

The function of the Business Account Executive is to act as a liaison, provide product and services information, answer questions and resolve any emerging problems that our Customers might face with accuracy and efficiency.

They will demonstrate IP Telecom's products to our existing customer base on their request, achieve sales and retain customers. The target is to ensure excellent service standards, respond efficiently to customer inquiries and maintain high customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities of the Business Account Executive will include:

  • Delivery of information about IP Telecom's products and services to existing customers
  • Answer general account and billing queries
  • Engage with customers intending to cancel their services, using persuasive communication skills to understand their concerns and offer solutions to retain their business
  • Assist and process orders for hardware/softphone requests
  • Manage post-sale service requests by educating customers on products through calls and demonstrations
  • Generate and provide customer quotes
  • Manage certain customer administrative tasks
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience
  • Go the extra mile to engage customers
  • Represent the values of the company
  • Handle other duties and projects as assigned

Skills and Qualifications for the Business Account Executive will include:

  • A minimum of 4 years experience in Customer Service or a related field in a Telecommunications environment.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing customer relationships.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, are essential. Must have the ability to conduct customer meetings and present data.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Good computer skills to manage customer data and communicate.
  • Ability to listen and pay attention to details.
  • Possess flexibility and ability to effectively perform multiple functions at a time.
