Finance Business Partner Analyst
Our Finance teams are central to our operations at Primark, working alongside top Finance specialists to contribute fresh ideas and insights to enhance customer experience as part of an innovative team.

As a Finance Business Partner Analyst, you will collaborate with leadership and key stakeholders across the organization. The role involves providing crucial support, advice, and challenging strategic decisions while bringing valuable analytical, commercial, and strategic perspectives to drive performance and value creation. Technical expertise and strong communication skills are essential, as you will assist the financial business partnering team in generating insights for decision-making processes, focusing specifically on technology and data within the Primark Technology function to shape future strategies.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide financial support for key commercial and strategic initiatives
  • Extract relevant data to prepare concise financial analysis to inform decisions
  • Introduce new ideas to solve issues and shape strategies
  • Identify opportunities for efficiencies and cost reduction
  • Focus on forward-looking activities to maximize value creation
  • Collaborate with technology stakeholders to develop and implement plans
  • Support the Technology Finance Business Partner in influencing stakeholders
  • Construct compelling analysis pieces, outlining issues and solutions
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver results
  • Monitor and measure the impact of strategic projects
  • Present analysis and recommendations to senior stakeholders

What You'll Bring

  • 3 years' PQE and professional qualification (ACA/ACCA) required
  • Previous experience in Big 4 and/or industry, specifically in transaction services and financial due diligence
  • In-house Business Partnering experience preferable
  • Experience in a fast-paced finance team, ideally in consulting, retail, or FMCG
  • Previous Retail or Technology experience desirable
