Job Title: Finance Business Partner - Permanent (Dublin)

Ergo are seeking a Finance Business Partner for a permanent role based in Dublin (hybrid).

The successful candidate will be reporting to the Head of Finance, contributing towards the smooth running of an efficient Finance function, delivering best-in-class reporting and streamlining processes.

This role will provide 'real time' support and analysis, requirement to be a trusted adviser and to add value that will assist in decision making.

In this role, you will act as a guide to your stakeholders, collaborating on commercial steering and evaluation of business opportunities. You will play a key role in ensuring accurate reporting of monthly results, ensuring they reflect the current performance of the business and driving initiatives as required. You will need to be adept at stakeholder management and comfortable with working in a fast-paced environment. You will play key role in shaping future strategies as our business continues to grow.

This is a hybrid role 2 or 3 days in the office based in Dublin 3.

Key Role Responsibilities:

* Responsible for the preparation of monthly management accounts for assigned Business Units
* Ensure the accuracy of the general ledger for your business units and the delivery of high quality financial and management reporting
* Responsible for journal reviews and balance sheet recs monthly
* Collaboration with business managers and P&L owners, including commercial steering and evaluation of business opportunities.
* Reviews of current processes and drive improvements and efficiencies.
* Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and accounting standards
* Developing, maintaining, and improving the Group's financial processes and systems of
internal control
* Month end and year end close process
* This role will include collaboration in reporting, budgeting, forecasting and business modelling.

Education, Qualifications and Skills
* Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA).
* 2 + years PQE.
* Strong experience of month end close, functional reporting and preparation of statutory accounts.

Microsoft Office suite essential.
* Microsoft Navision advantageous.
* Proficient in Financial Modelling and Power BI.
* Excellent attention to detail with the ability to develop strong business understanding.

* Be able to demonstrate a proven ability of financial analysis and forecasting.
* Strong commercial focus and ability to analyse different business scenarios.
* Fluent English.
* Excellent communication skills and comfortable dealing with and challenging senior
stakeholders.
